*Numpy Library Download
*Latest Version Of Numpy
The file to download will be called something like ’Python 2.7.2 compressed source tarball (for Linux, Unix, or Mac OS X)’. Uncompress and untar the file you just downloaded (somewhere where you have at least 175 megabytes of disk space). We will use Python 2.7.2 as an example: gunzip Python-2.7.2.tgz tar -xf Python-2.7.2.tar. *Download Numpy (Numerical Python) - This is a Python-based library whose main purpose is to implement a fast and sophisticated multi-dimensional array that will help in scientific computing.
*Develop libraries for array computing, recreating NumPy’s foundational concepts. Uarray: Python backend system that decouples API from implementation; unumpy provides a NumPy API. TensorLy: Tensor learning, algebra and backends to seamlessly use NumPy, MXNet, PyTorch, TensorFlow or CuPy.
*If there’s an existing python 2.7 (you might try this with python 3 but that combination hasn’t been tested) installation but no PyOpenGL (and NumPy, SciPy) then the easiest option is.
A few days ago I wrote about how to build SciPy for Python 2.7 on Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard.
Usually you want to install NumPy, SciPy and Matplotlib. After reading Installing SciPy/Mac OSX, the Matplotlibinstallation instructions and the HJBlog you might come to the conclusion, thatit’s not trivial to build them on your own and that you better use the 32bitbinaries for Python 2.6 or get them via MacPorts.
But actually it’s really easy. The only dependencies that you need to installare Xcode (for gcc andX11) and gfortran.
To simplify the the installation, I wrote a small Makefile that downloads all packages (except forXcode) and builds/installs them:Numpy Library Download
*Rename* the downloaded makefile to Makefile, open Terminal and cdto the diretory with the makefile.
*
The crew 2. Download gfortran and start the graphical installer:
*
Download and install NumPy, SciPy and Matplotlib:
*
Adobe creative cloud desktop app mac download. Run NumPy’s and SciPy’s test suite and delete the temporary build diretory:
That’s how the makefile looks like:
I have only tested it on my local machine yet. Hope, it helps and you don’t runinto any troubles.Latest Version Of Numpy
* If you don’t rename the makefile, you must pass it’s name to make:make-f Makefile_nsm <target>.
